Join us to launch Sacred People, Sacred Earth

Join us to launch Sacred People, Sacred Earth

RSVP for a series of TEDx talks on November 17 & 18

At Faith & the Common Good (FGC), our Green Rule is “Do unto the Earth, as you would have it do unto you.”  Across all religions and spiritual philosophies, the teachings are clear: we must take care of one another, and of Creation, because the Earth and all living beings and species are sacred.

But all life on Earth is now at risk.

On Tuesday, November 17 at 8:30 pm ET, join Faith & the Common Good and our US partners at GreenFaith for a global TEDx event to kick off mobilizing Sacred People, Sacred Earth – the biggest-ever grassroots, global, multi-faith, COVID-friendly climate action that will take place on March 11. This is part of Countdown – a special TEDx platform for climate action!

Holy Cross Parish 2020 Community Garden

Holy Cross Parish 2020 Community Garden

By Bibi Berger, EcoMinistry Group

We were excited to add more native wildflowers to the garden but were able to add fewer than expected, due to plant shortages. Fortunately, our new and existing plants grew very well and provided quite an attraction. It was a good pollinator year for the bees and the butterflies whose activities were not at all affected by the virus.
