Faith Community Sign-Up

Create a Faith Community Account

Who can join?

Our online network is designed to provide support and resources for faith and spiritual communities of any tradition or denomination, whether you have a sanctuary or if you meet in another building or home for worship or practice.

Why join?

Has your congregation or spiritual community embarked on its journey to tread more gently upon the earth? If so, join our network and be an inspiration to others! Registering for our network is free and demonstrates that your faith community is taking steps toward greening. As a network member, you will also be able to log in to access tools and resources, such as our certification program, that are unavailable to those who haven’t joined.

What is involved?

You will create a basic profile for your faith community (or faith-based organization), which can be updated at any time. You are not committing to actions on behalf of your congregation but rather sharing your stories and motivations with others. You can search our network map to see if your community already has an online profile.

Do I need to be part of a Green Team?

We encourage you be part of a Green Team if possible, but you need not be the Green Team leader. If your community is already listed, your Green Team leader may share access to the profile.

For more information on creating a Green Team , see -our “Forming a Green Team” page. Our Regional Representatives and our Network Coordinator are available to assist you.

Join our mailing list

You can also sign up for our newsletter to receive regular updates about our work and special notices. Because of the changes to Canadian privacy laws you must sign up for our newsletter separately from creating this online account.

How do I register my faith community?

Fill out the form below to join our online network and register your faith or spiritual community. The Faith Community Name and Location details will be posted to our map, but your personal contact information will not be displayed.

If multiple people will be accessing your faith community profile, please ensure to choose a username and password that can be shared. Choose a unique password not used for other websites. For assistance, please email [email protected].

About Us

Faith & the Common Good (FCG) is a national, interfaith network (charity registration # 82827 6121 RR0001) founded in 2000 on the belief that our diverse faith congregations and spiritual communities can be powerful role models for the common good. Our network is composed of people of faith, hope, and spirit who, despite our differences in theology, dress and culture, share a calling to protect our ecosystem and a passion for community service.
