At our November event you will learn all about Siloam United Church Urban Roots Garden and Orchard Project, both wonderful examples of how a faith community can engage in a spiritual based greening initiative that serves to provide healthy and nutritious food for those in need in our local community. The event will be held on Sunday, November 21st from 12 -1 p.m (ET).
You can attend in person at Siloam (1240 Fanshawe Road East) or virtually by zoom. The in-person event will be limited to 12 participants. All Covid safety protocols will be met, including checking vaccination status at the door, masking and social distancing. Those who attend in person will be able to view the garden.
Prior to the event, the organizers, Randy Donkervoort (Siloam United Church) and Jeremy Horrell (Urban Roots), have asked that all attendees watch the 3 videos at this weblink about the Urban Garden and Orchard Projects at this webpage: Siloam United Church Urban Garden
