Are you an arts organization seeking office, rehearsal or performance space?
Are you a place of faith seeking to connect with the broader community?
Faith Spaces and Art Places: How Arts Communities Are Working in Places of Faith and Creating New Multidisciplinary Cultural Hubs Together
Following the awarding of a Metcalf Foundation Leading and Learning Grant, representatives of the Toronto Arts Council, ArtsBuild Ontario, Trinity-St. Paul’s Centre for Faith, Justice and the Arts, and Faith & the Common Good conducted a series of research trips. The grant funded the exploration of innovative models in space sharing that featured artists and places of faith. We invite you to join us for the sharing of their findings from trips to Philadelphia and New York as well as their learnings from around Canada.
We also invite you to imagine the future of arts and faith collaborations in our SPACE FINDING SPEED DATING SESSION, as part of the sharing event.
Arts Organizations and Faith Communities can apply to [email protected] to be a part of the Speed Dating Session. You will have the opportunity to share two slides and have three minutes to speak about what you are seeking or what you are offering. We are accepting ten arts organizations and ten places of faith to begin this dialogue about space sharing and community creation.
The Space Finding Speed Dating Session will take part during the sharing event, and will be followed by a reception with light food and drink to talk more about the opportunities discovered. The event is free but you must be registered.
